LOCAL BUSINESSES AND RESTAURANTS

5/1/2020

Supporting local businesses, particularly those in Chinatown that have found ways to adapt and implement safe measures, is a small act each of us can take part in. Whether it's ordering take-out food from your favourite eateries that have reopened, stocking up on frozen dim sum or Chinese sausages, purchasing housewares, or sharing positive reviews on social media, we encourage you to do what you can. For those of you in Vancouver, here is a working map of Chinatown businesses complied by Chinatown Today.

Phnom Penh, a fixture in Vancouver's Chinatown, re-opened for takeout on May 1! A few of our CCHSBC members were on hand to celebrate and show their support during the opening hour. After picking up some yummy Cambodian food, our members headed over to Treasure Green Team for some iced tea! Call in & pick up groceries in Chinatown while you're at it!
