Every year, CCHSBC hosts a celebratory dinner honouring a deserving community member who has made significant contributions to the Chinese Canadian community. Unlike previous years, 2024 will be a little different. Instead of recogonising a single person for his/her contribution, we are going to recognise all those who have contributed to the Chinese Canadian Historical Society of BC over the last twenty years! That's right, CCHSBC is turning 20, and we're celebrating with a big bash!

SAVE the date!

Date: Saturday, May 4, 2023
Time: 6:00 PM Start
Location: Floata Seafood Restaurant, Vancouver Chinatown

Become a sponsor at our silent auction!

Each year, proceeds from CCHSBC's celebratory dinner goes towards a specific cause. Last year, we successfully hosted our first ever Silent Auction to raise funds for CCHSBC's Educational Programming and BC Heritage Fair Programming fund, and we couldn't have done it without the following sponsors: Arsenal Pulp Press, Bobby Hot Pot, Catherine Clement, Chinatown BBQ, Chinese Canadian Museum, Chinatown Storytelling Centre, Chinatown Wonders, Donna Seto Illustrations, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours, Gateway Theatre, Jade Dynasty Restaurant, Joanne Poon, Joyce Tang & Christopher Luk, Museum of Vancouver, New Town Bakery, Rob Ho, and Walter Quan all of whom generously donated items for our silent auction.

We are currently looking for sponsors for our 20th anniversary dinner! If you'd like to be a sponsor by donating an item for our silent auction, please contact Joyce Tang at info@cchsbc.ca.

Examples of silent auction items include: gift baskets, gift certificates, tickets to a museum, show or sports game, wine and liquor, print collections, and more.
