Trip Cost

Tour Cost: $3000 CDN

Includes:
  • Accommodations (for the duration of the tour)
  • Transportation (for the duration of the tour)
  • Entrance fees related to programme related activities
  • Most meals (for the duration of the tour)
Excludes:
  • Airfare (Travel To/From China)
  • Visitor Visa into China
  • Additional research on family history (subject to amount of research hours involved)
  • Additional visit to family village (subject to transportation needs and incidentals)
  • Other incidentals

Payment Information - ​Coming Soon

Deposit (non-refundable) - $500 - Due May 15, 2019
Balance of Tour Cost - $2500 - Due September 1, 2019
Additional family research and family village visit costs - Due within 14 days of billing

Cancellation Policy

Before May 14, 2019 - no penalty.
Between May 15 to August 30, 2019 - $500 (deposit).
After September 1, 2019 - full cost of the tour.

Travel Information

Depending on your passport/nationality, you may require an entry Visa into China. Please check with the PRC Embassy for more information / requirements. Please be advised that we are not responsible for your Visa application. We will provide you with necessary documentation to apply for a Visa. 

​Traveling from Hong Kong to Jiangmen
  • ​By Coach Bus - the bus leaves from multiple stop in Hong Kong including Hong Kong International Airport, Kowloon, and Wanchai. The final destination is the Yucca Hotel in Jiangmen. Bus tickets can be purchased in-person from the Chinalink Bus Company. Please note that the bus ride is approximately 3 to 4 hours long.
  • By Ferry - the ferry leaves the Hong Kong China Ferry Terminal located in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. Tickets can be purchased in-person at the ferry terminal from the Chu Kong Ferry Company. Please note that there is only one daytime sailing from Kowloon to Jiangmen, departing at 08:30am daily. The approximate travel time is 150 minutes.
